a low sigh escapes her. maybe it’s best she just lets this girl’s weird 18th century diction go for now, because hikari’s not about to argue with her over being called a COMMONER. ` you put coins in. if you can match up the three pictures in front of you while they’re spinning, you get money. sometimes you might even get a jackpot. i don’t play it often unless i’m BORED. it’s not like i have a lot of money to spare. `

Proton completely ignores any of the blathering coming out of Weird Girl’s mouth. Instead he just sighs and adjusts the brim of his hat a bit to pass the time until she shuts up. …Which she doesn’t seem real keen on doing. How annoying. At least talk at less of an ear-splitting volume. “I’m gettin’ pretty good at throwin’ knives and your stomach ain’t a half bad target if you don’t shut the hell up. Your bullshit is giving me a headache.” As if Proton is one to judge others for bragging, but that is slightly beside the point.
“Are you… threatening me, sir?” She forced herself to ask after a few moments, surprised by the directness of the threat. A knife in her stomach? … how charming…However…
“… If you’re trying to scare me, it won’t work.”
“I’ve already stared death in his face, sir. I won’t let myself be scared by the likes of you.”
